Larry Briggs is the owner of Briggs Consulting.  He has been the owner of his own management consulting practice for fifteen years. Prior to founding his consulting practice he served as vice president in charge of business development for Timberline Software.  Over the last sixteen years he has researched the role of the visionary leaders and the impact of shared vision on organizational performance, and has authored articles on the subject. His clients include CEOs who are committed to improving themselves and their organizations.

Larry is a skilled meeting facilitator, powerful listener, and makes it his specialty to keep up on the latest in management, technology, and leadership thinking.  He is an author and public speaker, and has created a highly successful change process called Vision to Action, which helps leaders bring their vision into reality for the organizations they lead.

Prior to founding his own business in 1989, Larry was the Vice President of Business Development for Timberline Software, a large software company located in Beaverton, Oregon.  Larry was with Timberline for ten years where he held a number of sales and management positions including Director of Sales and Marketing.  Some of his accomplishments while at Timberline include designing and launching the dealer channel of distribution when the company moved from an in-house sales force to dealer sales.  He also was in charge of marketing for all activities associated with the successful release of the Medallion Collection, Timberline's first microcomputer family of software products.

Larry has in-depth experience in both technology and management.  From 1973 through 1978 he was the general manager and part owner of Institute Data, a computer service bureau in Agana, Guam.  While at that company he was responsible for taking a business that was failing, with serious cash flow and operational problems to a sound business that grew over 500% under his leadership.
